She and her band, The Big Fuss, toured Victoria and NSW, gaining strong support from radio and print media. She was also invited to open for Tim Rogers on his regional Victorian tour and launched another album with her band, The Cartridge Family. Past Events
11 Oct 2024 Fenn & George Wilson
Fenn Wilson’s lyrics turn pain into poetry, laced with light; compassion and wisdom beyond his years imbue every line. He is mesmerising on stage, either solo or surrounded by his skilled and sensitive sidemen, creating thunderstorm dynamics reminiscent of Jeff Buckley. Fenn’s songcraft is astounding; echoes of a young John Martyn or Glenn Hansard filter through in his faultless guitar rhythms and cunning doubling of vocal melodies. Memorable hooks abound, without a trace of gimmick or cliché. And then there’s his voice.
George Carroll Wilson's solo project Pollyman delivers glam rock hooks and old school looks with a sparkling and original blend of rock and roll and pop through the ages. Inspired by such artists as Jeff Buckley and David Bowie, Pollyman flaunts a defiant sound and exhilarating live performances that leave an indelible mark long after the final note has been played.
