What a Day! St Andrews Festival 2026 Wrap-Up
Wow — what an incredible day we shared at the St Andrews Festival on Saturday 21 March! From sunshine-filled skies to smiling faces everywhere you looked, this year’s festival was a true celebration of everything that makes our community so special.
Across Wadambuk, the Primary School and the Men’s Shed, the festival buzzed with activity from start to finish. Families enjoyed a huge range of kids’ entertainment — from giant inflatables and rock climbing to face painting, dinosaurs (both on stage and roaming around!) and hands-on fun like toolbox making at the Men’s Shed. It was fantastic to see so many young people fully immersed in the day.
Inside the Wadambuk gallery, the Community Art Show was a standout, showcasing an impressive 105 artworks from both adults and young people. The space was alive with creativity, conversation and cups of tea — and yes, the Devonshire teas were such a hit we completely sold out!
Our main stage kept the good vibes rolling all afternoon, kicking off with the St Andrews Primary School bands and flowing through a brilliant lineup of local performers, community groups and our headline act. A special highlight this year was seeing our very own community members take to the stage — a real celebration of local talent and spirit.
The Men’s Shed once again brought the goods with their classic car display and open workshop, while food trucks, the school BBQ and the Wadambuk bar kept everyone well fed and refreshed throughout the day.
We were thrilled to welcome an estimated 700–800 people across the festival — with strong support from St Andrews locals and visitors from across Nillumbik and beyond. It’s clear that this event continues to be a much-loved opportunity to connect, catch up and celebrate together.
A Huge Thank You
Events like this simply don’t happen without the dedication and generosity of our community.
To our incredible volunteers — thank you. From months of planning to setting up, packing down and everything in between, your time, energy and heart are what make this festival possible.
To our partner organisations — St Andrews Primary School, the Men’s Shed, performers, artists, stallholders and contributors — thank you for bringing the festival to life.
And to our valued sponsors and supporters, including Nillumbik Shire Council, thank you for backing community events like this and helping us continue this much-loved tradition.
Thanks for being part of it!
