ST ANDREWS LANDCARE
St Andrews Landcare is a community-based volunteer organisation dedicated to protecting our native wildlife, plants, and habitats, while supporting the sustainable use of land. We work to keep our rivers and creeks healthy and help with land management practices across St Andrews and surrounding areas.
Our passionate volunteers come from all walks of life and play a key role in managing and restoring the natural environment of our region. Whether you're looking to improve your land or simply get involved with community efforts to protect local ecosystems, St Andrews Landcare is the perfect place to start.
WHAT WE DO
St Andrews Landcare works on a variety of projects aimed at improving the health of the land and supporting local wildlife. Some of our key activities include:
-
Streamside restoration of the upper Diamond Creek
-
Weed control projects focusing on invasive species like blackberry and bluebell creeper
-
Wildlife monitoring programs to track and protect local fauna
-
Offering advice to landowners on land management issues and ecological values
-
Organising working bees to support landowners with on-the-ground environmental work

We are currently focused on several strategic programs, and we invite you to join us and contribute to these important projects.
